Where jobs slip away

Every handoff is a place to lose money.

Between the lead, the estimate, the crew and the invoice, something has to happen next. When nobody owns it, the job slips. Here are four common ones.

The lead nobody calls back

A homeowner fills out your form on Saturday night. Nobody calls until Monday, and by then they have asked two other companies.

With a system: Called and texted in under a minute, estimate booked before Sunday.Lead follow-up →

The estimate that goes quiet

You sent a $14,800 estimate and heard nothing. It sits in “Estimate sent” until someone remembers to call.

With a system: Followed up on a schedule you approve until there is an answer.Estimate follow-up →

The sold job that stalls

The contract is signed, but the material order is missing a color and the delivery moved. The crew finds out in the driveway.

With a system: Sold jobs reach production with everything attached, and conflicts flagged early.Job handoffs & scheduling →

The invoice nobody chases

The job is done and the homeowner is happy. The final invoice, with the change order, is still sitting in someone’s inbox.

With a system: Invoices sent with the change order, and followed up until paid.Change orders & collections →
The bigger idea

One record for every job, from lead to paid.

Every lead gets a work order the moment it arrives, and that same record follows the job through the estimate, the sale, production and the final invoice. Each next step happens on schedule, and every call, text and update is logged with who handled it.

  • Leads answered and followed upIn under a minute, nights and weekends included, until there is an answer.
  • Every conversation on the recordSaved to the job in your CRM, so anyone can see what was said and what is next.
  • Sold jobs handed off completeMaterials, measurements and notes reach production without retyping.
  • Invoices followed up until paidChange orders included, reminders stopped when the payment lands.

Your automation department

Build it once. Keep improving it every month.

Most owners don’t need one more tool. They need someone who owns how the tools work together. On a Partner plan, we fix what breaks, review how leads and jobs are moving, and build the next improvement every month.

  1. Month 1

    Lead follow-up

Every new lead called, texted and logged within a minute.

  2. Month 2

    Estimate follow-up

Quiet estimates worked until there is an answer.

  3. Month 3

    Production handoff

Sold jobs reach the crew with everything attached.

  4. Month 4

    Billing & reporting

Invoices chased automatically, and a monthly report on what it all produced.

How a project works

From a 20-minute call to a system that runs on its own.

  1. 01

    A 20-minute call

  2. 02

    Written scope and price

What gets built, what it costs to run each month, and how we will test it. Nothing starts until you approve it.

  3. 03

    Built in your accounts

Set up in your CRM, phone and calendar, then tested with real scenarios before it reaches a customer.

  4. 04

Live, with 30 days of fixes

Who builds it

No account managers. No handoffs on our side.

GoodHandoff is a small automation shop. Home service businesses are our focus, and we build for any small business where work changes hands between people.

The person you talk to on the first call scopes your system, builds and tests it in your accounts, and is the one you reach if something needs fixing.

Questions owners ask

Before you book a call.

Do I have to switch CRMs?
No. We build inside the CRM you already use, like JobNimbus, AccuLynx, Housecall Pro, Jobber or ServiceTitan. If your CRM cannot do something, you hear that before we quote.
Where should we start?
Wherever you lose the most today. For most home service businesses that is lead follow-up or quiet estimates. On the first call we look at your numbers and pick the one that pays back fastest.
Do you only work with home service businesses?
Home services is our focus: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, remodeling, cleaning, lawn care and similar trades. We also build for other small businesses where a request needs an owner and a next step. If it is not a fit, you will hear that on the first call.
Who owns the system?
You do. It runs in accounts in your company’s name, and you get the logins and operating notes. If you stop working with us, it keeps running.
Will homeowners know when they are talking to AI?
You decide. We set the greeting, what it is allowed to answer and when it hands the conversation to a person on your team.
What does it cost to run each month?
Phone numbers, AI minutes and software add-ons are billed by those providers directly to you. Your proposal estimates them before you commit. A monthly plan is separate and optional.
Is it legal to call and text leads automatically?
We only contact people who reached out to you or agreed to be contacted, and every text includes a way to opt out. We review your lead sources and consent wording while we scope the build.
