You did the work. You just didn't bill for it. Two change orders. Three hundred eighty-five dollars for a corroded main shutoff. Six hundred forty for a hose bib on the back patio. The homeowner approved both. Your crew did both.

Neither one is on the final invoice.

It happens because the approvals live in different places. One was a yes in the driveway. One was a price in a text to the estimator. The photos are on the crew lead's phone. And the office invoices from the original contract.

Here's the same whole-house repipe with a GoodHandoff workflow. When a change is approved, it's recorded on the job before the crew gets the go-ahead. Before the final invoice goes out, the workflow checks it against every approved change. A missing line stops the invoice from sending until someone fixes it.

So the invoice goes out right: ninety-eight hundred for the contract, plus three eighty-five and six forty in approved changes, minus the two thousand dollar deposit. Eight thousand eight hundred twenty-five due.

When the homeowner texts, "What's the three eighty-five?", the signed change order is right there to send back.

Nobody has to dig through texts or call the crew to find out what was approved.

Then reminders run on a schedule you approve. The balance is confirmed before each one. If the customer disputes something, the reminders pause and a person handles it. Nothing goes out that reads like a legal demand.

Example only: if one four-hundred-dollar change slips through each month, that's forty-eight hundred dollars a year of work done for free. Your numbers will be different.

We build this into the CRM you already use and run it for you. We watch it, and fix it when something breaks. No new hire to chase invoices. No new software to learn.
